The Redraft Project

The Redraft Project
Every line is chiselled in the dark, some spiral into stars... just to fall into our hands.

Welcome to The Redraft Project — a family for poems.
Here, your lines have more than nine lives.
Here, poems aren’t one-and-done; they’re recyclable organisms — living drafts that breathe, molt, and grow.

We believe a poem isn’t finished when it’s published.
It’s finished when it stops asking questions.
And here, we leave space for it to keep asking.

What Is This Project?

The Redraft Project is a collaborative poetry space.
Writers submit poems — in full, in fragments, or in need.
Readers and editors respond, rework, and reshape.
Together, we redraft. Together, we build a living, breathing archive.

How It Works

  • Submit a poem or a line using this form.
  • Read others’ drafts in the Poem Gallery.
  • Join the Discord to discuss, reflect, or redraft.
  • Every poem can have multiple versions. Each contributor is credited.
  • Once 70 poems are redrafted and shaped by 100+ contributors, we’ll publish a digital collection. All proceeds go to a community-chosen charity.

Why Redraft?

Revision is reclamation.
We live unfinished lives. We deserve unfinished poems.
